Bar of the Week: Le Brebant, Paris

This week’s Bar of the Week is the quirky Le Brebant in Paris, because well … Paris.  Need I say more?  That aside, just how dreamy does it look?  It’s definitely going on my must-visit list for when I’m next in Paris.

It seems to have quite an eclectic vibe about it, from mismatched antique/vintage furniture, to 70’s wallpaper, to basket light fixtures that remind me of Bali.  However, somehow it all just works together beautifully.  And according to reviews the charm of Le Brebant is that it is not touristy at all.

Le Brebant is apparently one of the oldest Brasseries in Paris, dating back to 1865.  It is very popular with locals and usually quite busy, especially the outside terrace, and supposedly super romantic, especially at night when the lights are dimmed and only the ceiling is illuminated.

They open at 7.30am in time for those in need of that morning coffee and remain open for almost 24 hours, only closing at 5am, perfect for an indulgent late-night champagne session.

You’ll find Le Brebant at 32 Boulevard Poissonnière and your nearest metro to them would be Grand Boulevard.  Not sure if they take reservations, but give them a call on +33 1 47 70 01 02 just to be sure.  Follow along on Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date on all news and happenings.

You might even find me there in the not too distant future 🙂
