Cellar Visit: Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

Quite possibly one of the most recognisable brands in the world is the vibrant yellow label of Veuve Clicquot, founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot Muiron.  In 1799 Philippe’s son François married Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin who took over the reigns of the business after François died around 1805 as Philippe had retired.
